If for whatever reason you weren't around during the turn of the millenium and don't know what Pokémon is, I'll let you know. Pokémon / Pocket Monsters is a franchise of video games, trading cards and anime about little monsters you can catch and train. They are trained to fight each other in epic battles so that the trainer may become the "Ultimate" Pokémon Master. It was stunningly popular several years ago and the stories still continue to be written and games and products continue to be produced.
And of course, our spotlight Pokémon for this fanlist is Growlithe! Its Japanese name is Gardie, but I prefer the name Growlithe so I'll use that from here on out. :D
Growlithe is the 58th Pokémon from the first generation. It was an uncommon Pokémon that could only be caught in the Red Version of the game at or around routes 7 & 8. It evolves into the "legendary" Arcanine, a majestic and popular Pokémon using a Fire Stone.
Many people prefer to evolve their Growlithes, but there are those who love their cute Growlithes just the way they are. If you're at this fanlist, perhaps you're one of them!
Growlithe is known as "the puppy Pokémon" and rightfully so. It's very playful and puppylike, but watch out! Growlithe is also very loyal and protective. They protect their territories by barking and biting, but being a Fire Pokémon, it uses moves like Ember, Flamethrower and Flame Wheel in battle.
